SIMPLE PLAN, FOR THE FANS

What better way to start off a blog than posting about your likes. Well these guys are more than a like for me, they are more than a love too, I absolutely adore these guys. If I could think of a word greater than that, It still wouldn't be the best way to describe how I feel about them. Of course you can tell by the pictures posted, that I am indeed talking about Chuck, Pierre, Jeff, David and Sebastian. The five wonderful and very talented boys that make up my favorite band of existence, Simple Plan.

This is my Simple Plan wall in my bedroom. Each heart contains some of my favorite SP lyrics.
Shirts, Autographs, concert tickets, even each one of their guitar picks.

When asked to do a documentary on our favorite band or genera of music, The choice was so Simple to me. My only issue now would be fitting it into 10 minutes. When you love something this much, you can go on forever talking about it. So many angles to take this assignment from also, sticking to their ups and downs of
a band, what finally made it big for them, their personal lives. For me again this choice was simple, The reason I love these guys so much is because their music has helped me so much throughout the years. So much so that on the 10 year anniversary of their first album " No pads, No helmets... Just balls" in March, I got my first tattoo dedicated to them.  It was the three symbols that are on their first CD, and I assure you it won't be my last Simple Plan tattoo.

I have personally met the boys five times in a two year span and have attended six concerts. They are very sweet and fun guys, They remember you. by the time I met them for the third time, I would walk into the room and they would say hi to me by name, they know me, they remember me and they know how much they mean to me.

February 12th 2012, First time I met my heroes.

These five guys have done so much for me in the past 12 years, They are a big reason why I am the person I am today, which is a pretty decent person if I do say so myself. Thanks to their music, I was able to get out my frustrations constantly and Their concerts were the best therapy.  This documentary I made for them is very close to my heart and personal, but it is also speaking on behalf of all their other fans around the world, who got the same benefits I did from their crazy, fun, emotional and amazing music.
